Our Teams

Lydo's Lab teams cater to young baseball and softball athletes across various age groups. Each of our teams is meticulously designed to foster player development, offer competitive opportunities, and maximize practice time.

2025 Lydo's Lab Baseball and Softball Teams

Since opening the doors in November of 2023, Lydo's Lab has seen the demand for Youth Baseball and Softball grow in our community.  Starting with two teams in 2023, and growing to 4 competitive baseball teams this season, is a major step but we knew there was something missing.  And the same question has continually been asked, "When will you have softball teams"?


Starting this fall we will  be growing our teams with Softball.  No longer will local players have to drive to Salem or Portland to play on a competitive softball team.  Our goal is to compete in PGF, Triple Crown, USA Preps and USA Softball events, with a focus on development and helping players get to the next level.  All with coaches that have played or coached at the college level.

12U & 14U Tryouts are July 29th.  On-Field workouts will be at the Les Schwab Sports Park from 2 PM to 4 PM, followed by Hitting and Pitching at Lydo's Lab from 6 PM to 8 PM.


16U & 18U Tryouts are July 30th.  On-Field workouts will be at the Les Schwab Sports Park from 2 PM to 4 PM, followed by Hitting and Pitching at Lydo's Lab from 6 PM to 8 PM.



We are looking for Coachable, Energetic, Skilled, & Motivated players with the drive to COMPETE.

12U

Our 12u baseball team will begin game competition in May 2025 and conclude at the end of July. Being selected to be a part of our 12u team includes:

  • Membership to facility
  • High-level competition and player development
  • 2 to 3 weekly on-field or facility practices
  • Access to Lydo's Lab staff of current and former collegiate players and coaches
  • 7+ tournaments


15U

Our 15u baseball team will begin game competition in May 2025 and conclude at the end of July. Being selected to be a part of our 12u team includes:

  • High-level competition and player development
  • 2 to 3 weekly on-field or facility practices

17U
